Amenities

Yes, parking is available! Each household at The Haven receives one assigned parking space, either a covered carport or an uncovered space, depending on the unit. Additional rentable spaces are available starting at $75 per month. We also provide complimentary guest parking on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Haven at La Mesa is proud to be pet-friendly! We even offer a pet park where you and your furry friend can play, exercise, and unwind before returning to your cozy home for snuggles. A $50 monthly pet rent applies per cat or dog, with a maximum of two pets per household. There are no weight restrictions. Please contact our leasing office for more details, including any breed restrictions.

Administrative and Leasing

Pay your rent with ease through the resident portal! The online portal will accept payment by bank account, debit, or credit card. If you prefer to pay a different way, our leasing team will also accept rent payments in the form of personal checks or certified funds. Contact our team if you have any questions about how to make a rent payment.

Our Renters Insurance requires that the policy list all leaseholders, have a minimum of $100,000 personal liability, and list the property as an interested party. If you have any questions about the Renters Insurance policy at The Haven at La Mesa, please contact our leasing office!

For internet and cable providers, residents can choose between AT&T or Cox.

No utilities are included in the rent. Residents will be responsible for utilities such as water, trash, sewer, electricity, and waste. 
 

Location and Directions

Our apartment homes are nestled in the heart of La Mesa, offering an unbeatable location with public transportation just steps away. The nearest Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) stop is only a few feet from the community, and the trolley station is conveniently located right around the corner on La Mesa Boulevard. For those who travel frequently, the San Diego International Airport is just 15 miles away, making commuting and exploring the city effortless.

Great schooling and education are right around the corner, as we are located in La Mesa-Spring Valley School District.

For Future Residents

To apply for your new home at The Haven at La Mesa, visit the Floor Plans page of our website and apply online!

Applicants must have verifiable income equal to or greater than 2.5 times (gross) the market rent. Guarantors must have original, verifiable income equal to or greater than 4 times (gross market rent).

Our community maintains valid proof of income for record-keeping purposes as the first step in our income verification process.

A second income verification step occurs after the application is submitted. During this step, future residents are required to upload various forms of income documentation to verify the information submitted through our specialized software.

If the software is unable to locate records, you may be asked to provide an alternative form of verification, such as bank statements or recent pay stubs, to confirm income eligibility.

Community tours are available Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We encourage you to call our leasing team to schedule a time that works best for you—this ensures there’s no wait for you and allows us plenty of time to answer all your questions about your new home at The Haven at La Mesa.

We accept both appointments and walk-ins. In order to get the full experience of these gorgeous La Mesa apartments, schedule a tour to prevent any wait time and to ensure you can ask all the questions about your new home.

Residents at The Haven at La Mesa are welcome to enjoy our common area spaces at no additional cost. Each household may use these spaces with members of their household and up to two additional guests. Note that residents may pay additional charges for parking and/or pet rent, if applicable.

We want The Haven at La Mesa to remain a peaceful and enjoyable community for all residents. We kindly ask everyone to be mindful of noise levels throughout the day, especially during quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
